A fun filled day of crappy rigs and pysch patients. They make me laugh when they say things like " Gimme a cheeseburger, fries and shake or your whole family will die." Really? Did GOD tell you to ensure your food order prior to the demise of my family? Strange, you would think you would have ordered a steak and potatoes or lobster, something more filling. That's like asking for Chinese food on death row, your going to be hungry 20 minutes later...err wait, I guess that's ok.
The Engineer has been calling, spoke to him yesterday amidst the sirens, dispatchers and backfiring of my rig. Didn't really want to talk to him so figured if he heard how busy I was conversation would be short. It was. He asked me out again for Sunday night, said I would call Sunday morning to confirm. I am conflicted, on one hand I like him and enjoy his company, on the other I am pretty sure I don't want anything further and when he says stuff like "I have been thinking of you everyday" I smile but don't respond. What should I do? Decisions decisions.
I am off to do more life saving, which really means I am off to be a glorified taxi driver. I am not sure why but lately it feels like I should be doing more with my life. Donating time and Coat Drives are great but I really feel like I am missing out somehow in my life. Puzzles can be fun as long as there are no missing pieces. That sucks.

RFLMAO, I want to follow you just for one day and video tape your encounters...hilarious. If there were no 'glorified taxi drivers' all the sick and elderly would either have to take themselves in and probably die along the way or take out a few innocents and the other thing that could happen is that sick people who couldn't move themselves would start to pile up and decay. Either way not a very pretty picture so please, Wonder Woman, don't dare put yourself down. We all freakin' need more people like you. Believe it it's true.
ReplyDeleteNow since you can't decide and tossing a coin is ridiculously lame, be mature and ask yourself...what do you have to lose by seeing Mr Engineer again? So what he said he is looking for one thing you may not be ready to provide right now ( or ever) .
We are human, every last one of us. He may not know what he's saying because he's so taken by you. What's the matter. Since when is it better to be jaded and overly caustious when it comes to affairs of the heart? How will you know you've lived if you keep dodging the good clean things in life? If he gives you reason to mistrust him then do a number on him. He is only asking for a date and that's all he can realistically hope for. You hope for things too. Should people write you off just because your ideals aren't quite the same? All I'm saying is be real and people are forced to be real with you. Be honest with yourself and others can try to lie to you but you will know. Follow your God given instincts. If he has flowers in his hands behind his back, be surprised and say thank you like you mean it (that's living) if he has a butcher knife behind his back, stick him in your rig and drop him off where ever there's room.
If he get's pushy with his dreams of making you his bride and you still like him but aren't ready for that...start being real, you need things. Same as you would if you were to take him up on his presentation. Forget that garbage about 'gold digging ' remember he sought YOU out not the other way around. (And if it was the other way around can you give me a couple tips) have a blast in this life with new things. Life can be a terrific adventure. Don't be afraid now or later you'll feel like you stopped your own self from living. Life is for the living, do it! Best of luck and courage to you. Break a leg sister....:)
