Day 8 of Singledom

Yesterday was easy, everything went smoothly, small pangs of missing having another half to call when creepy doctor touches your feet without gloves (I have pretty feet, just checking circulation, no bunions or anything like that) or when the homeless guy pukes on the bus. Ever wonder what the CTA does when someone pukes? Answer: Nothing.

Shitty weather but I am feeling good. Mentally I think I have myself ready for the night and prepared to hand over my cell phone so there will be no drunk dialing. Drunk dialing is never fun, because in the morning it can only be either bad or really bad. Once called an exes home number where is mother answered at 5am, long time ago when living with your mother at that age was acceptable but that's a totally different blog. Anyway it's a bad idea. You don't remember what you said or exactly who you called or (shudder) who you could be waking up with in the morning. Last thing you want to do is wind up next to one of your exes and have the embarrassing task of sending them on there way when they think it's makeup sex. That is also for another blog since I will be a responsible girl tonight. Somewhat.

  2. In anyone and everyone's life even defeat has it's very specific purpose. We just have to be still and rational enough to understand what it means to us.
While intentionally embalming oneself occasionally we see the light.
Perhaps the message needs to be brought by means of drowning our sorrows only so that we may appreciate what we truly have in this grand and wondrous world...ourselves. And damn everything in our lives to kingdom come if that isn't enough. This is a time for building our selves UP after someone has seen it fit or necessary to bull doze us.
Love is not for the fool hearted or aluminum one. Guard your tab (heart) and your liquid (soul) there will always be someone at the ready, thirsty enough for and slip of a drink. To have the right one for us thirsting for our love and to be with us would probably make the crushing of our shell of a cover more worth it than a fleet of taxi's at our disposal in Chicago. Just be prepared with your mind and your heart to give your all and your everything in return. That may take some time for you to access , but naturally. You are worth it. If none of this makes any sense for you than here's something simpler....."fake it til you make it". (but have a goal)
